New DuraCor™ herbicide, with Rinskor™ active– First new active ingredient in Range & Pasture market in almost 15 years  

DuraCor™ herbicide is a new Range & Pasture herbicide by Corteva Agriscience™. It is expected to be labeled for control of annual and perennial broadleaf weeds and brush. DuraCor™, composed of two active ingredients, is powered by Rinskor™ active, the first new active ingredient introduced in the Range and Pasture market in nearly 15 years.

DuraCor controls more than 140 susceptible herbaceous broadleaf weeds including yellow starthistle (Centaurea solstitialis), Canada thistle (Cirsium arvense), musk thistle (Carduus nutans), wild carrot (Daucus carota), Horse nettle (Solanum carolinense), Purple loosestrife (Lythrum salicaria), silverleaf nightshade (Solanum elaeagnifolium), knapweeds (Centaurea sp.) and poison hemlock (Conium maculatum). 

Powered by Rinskor™ active-- recipient of the 2018 Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award-- DuraCor is anticipated to offer several attributes (sidebar).

 Corteva Agriscience™ is planning summer field demonstration sites and tours to provide public and private land managers the opportunity to view DuraCor efficacy on a variety of invasive weeds. Techline News will keep you up to date on the demonstration events scheduled across the country.
