We are proud to announce the launch of our newly redesigned website. On behalf of all of us at TechLine Invasive Plant News, welcome!
Our old website served us well, but technology continues to develop. With this redesign can more effectively bring innovative information about invasive plant management to our readers...wherever and however they may be reading.
In addition to general sprucing-up, we’ve added a few new features:
The new site has a contemporary blog layout and design, it is optimized to view it in multiple devices and using any level of internet connection. So whether you are on an iPad at home, Android phone in the field, or using your grandparent's IBM on the farm, you will be able to join our online community.
The website structure is more logically organized, listing the most recent articles chronologically on the Home page. Readers can filter articles by category, tags, publication date, and unique keyword searches. For example, display all Success Stories (category) containing the tag “spotted knapweed” published in 2010. Access these search tools on the right side of the Home page, or visit the Browse page for more comprehensive search options.
We focused on integrating social media into every part of the site, so wherever you are you can share what you see with your friends and colleagues. We are also incorporating more multimedia, such as images, videos and other multimedia content.
We encourage you to explore the new site, although much has changed, all of the resources that we have created over the years are still part of the site.
Thanks to everyone who has given us feedback on the site design, and helped us to create the more connected, organized and social TechLine News website you see today. A special thanks to Kevin Hamm with Studio 19 Productions for converting our vision into a beautiful and functional site. If you have any feedback on the site, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
